Founded in 1971 by about 30 producers located in Tuscany between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo the Cantina Viticoltori Senesi Aretini nowadays has 235 members, owning over 350 hectares of vineyards.
Thanks to the collaboration with Maurizio Castelli (one of most famous Italian winemakers) and the continuing presence and cooperation with Mery Ferrara, the wine culture integrates innovation with tradition.

The vines grown, then as now, were those typical of the area: the red grapes of Sangiovese and Canaiolo and the white grapes of Trebbiano and Malvasia. Since the 2007 vintage, the Council of directors, benefiting also from the grapes varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet, Chardonnay.

vendemmia uva rossa Actually the winery can supply more kind of wines, with a potential production of 2 millions of bottles in different wine appellations (chianti docg, Chianti Riserva docg, Chianti Classico docg, Orcia doc, IGT red and white of Tuscany, IGT Sangiovese, Vernaccia di San Gimignano docg, Morellino di Scansano docg, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano docg, Rosso di Montepulciano doc, Brunello di Montalcino docg, Rosso di Montalcino doc… and more!) and in different bottle size, including also tuscan traditional “fiasco” (flagon) for Chianti.
