VURGADA' RED WINE - 750ml-BIO


“Vurgadà” is the name of an enchanting, surreal place, graced by a natural pond, in which our cattle once cooled down. This water basin made the previously pebbly land fertile and ideal for making top quality wines, and today hosts a great many rows of vines.  

Production area: Voltagrande estate and other vineyards in Cirò.

Grapes varieties: 35% Nerello Cappuccio, 35% Merlot, 30% Gaglioppo organically cultivated.


Training system: Espalier.

Harvest period: First ten days of October.


Maturation: In oak barrels for 6 months, in bottle for 6 months. Alcoholic content: 13,5% vol.


Palate: Strongly vigorous, tannic, soft and elegant.


Serving temperature: Not less than 18°/20°C.


Pairings suggestion: Grilled or roasted meat, braised meat
