The Veneria estate, theater of “Riso Amaro” scenes, with the unforgettable Silvana Mangano, is a piece of Vercellese history. Here the rice has been cultivated since 1789. Today the estate is about 750 hectares, and it is cultivated two thirds with rice and one third with soy. The triennial rotation is in use and the production is followed on site by the selection of the seeds to the packing. The rice cultivated: Carnaroli, Baldo, Vialone Nano, Balilla and the aromatic Gange, able to be purchased on site or online along with ready risotti with porcini mushrooms, leaves, artichokes, zucchini and saffron etc.
