Spaghetti is the ultimate type of dry pasta, symbol of the Neapolitan dining table. The name comes from the shape similar to a big string. The first reference to the spaghetti is in the domestic vocabulary of Giacinto Carena ( 1846), where it is listed along with “capelloni,Spilloni and Vermicelli”; a few years later it also appeared in the famous dictionary Tommaseo-Bellini , released in  1861-1879.
